Markets in a Minute - 27 October 2020

Global equity markets have mostly fallen over the past week as the second wave of Covid-19 has intensified, uncertainty around the US election, and diminishing prospects for an agreement on a stimulus package in the US.

The major exceptions were China and Japan, where equity markets rose.
